How to Restore Blogger's Classic Look

Hi friends Bloghint, as we know now the appearance of Blogger has completely changed 100% from a few months ago in my opinion it's not perfect, but now Blogger has completely replaced the old Blogger appearance with the new one.

The neat appearance and placement of the menu on the Blogger dashboard are now more minimalist but still detailed, modern, responsive, and a post editor with added features. What are you called? SEAMLESS! anyway for the better. But there are some Blogger users who want to return the new look to the old or classic, maybe because they can't switch or can't adapt from the old one.

Whatever the reason, only one word can represent "Comfort". Yes, maybe you are already comfortable and used to Blogging with the old version of the dashboard because people's preferences for comfort are different. But now Blogger cannot easily return the dashboard to its old appearance, previously there was a link or button with the words Back to classic and now the button is not there. How to handle it? Come on, follow these easy tips.

How to Restore Blogger's Classic Look

As usual, open it www.blogger.comin a browser. then open a new tab in the browser used, add this link and replace the code marked with your Blog ID code .

https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX&useLegacyBlogger=true#allposts

Then the result will be like this

But take it easy, the button to switch to the new one is still there. So that the link is permanent, you should just bookmark the page.

Until now I wrote, the method above is still working well. But for the future, I don't know myself, maybe later Blogger will remove the classic Blogger dashboard completely so that the above link doesn't work anymore.

Okay, that's all from Bloghint on How to Restore Blogger's Classic Look . Hopefully useful and happy work!

Displaying a widget on a certain page is of course an advantage for the blog. For example, we install a related article widget that is only on the posting page, of course the widget that you install on the posting page will provide a choice of other articles, besides that it will be more effective at saving your blog's homepage space.

How To Show Widget Only On Certain Pages

<b: if cond = 'data: blog.url == data: blog.homepageUrl'>

How to install widgets on certain pages

1. Login to Blogger .
2. Go to Tempalte > Edit HTML
3. Find the widget that you want to hide (make sure you have installed the widget on the blog)
4. Use CTRL + F for easier search.
5. For example I use the latest articles which only appear in blog posts.
<b: widget id = 'HTML2' locked = 'false' title = ' Latest articles ' type = 'HTML' version = '1' visible = 'true'>
<b: includable id = 'main'>
<! - only display title if it's non-empty ->
<b: if cond = 'data: title! = & quot; & quot;'>
<h3 class = 'title'> <data: title /> </h3>
</ b: if>
<div class = 'widget-content'>
<data: content />
</div>
</ b: includable>
</ b: widget>.

6. Next add the code according to the needs of your blog.
For example, post the code below
<b: if cond = 'data: blog.url! = data: blog.homepageUrl'>
before the code
<! - only display title if it's non-empty ->

7. Then add the </ b: if> code before the code
</ b: includable>
</ b: widget>

8. If you installed correctly then the result is as below.
<b: widget id = 'HTML2' locked = 'false' title = ' Latest articles ' type = 'HTML' version = '1' visible = 'true'>
<b: includable id = 'main'> <b: if cond = 'data: blog.url! = data: blog.homepageUrl'>
<! - only display title if it's non-empty ->
<b: if cond = 'data: title! = & quot; & quot;'>
<h3 class = 'title'> <data: title /> </h3>
</ b: if>
<div class = 'widget-content'>
<data: content />
</div>
</ b: if> </ b: includable>
</ b: widget>
Description: The code in blue is the code that is added. Make no mistake in placing it.
